God's power verses to us today from InspirationWatch
[David speaking] “’The Lord is my rock and my fortress on
the mountain and my rescuer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield
and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge, my Saviour – You save
me from violence. I call on the Lord,
who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.’” II Samuel
22:1-4
“Therefore David blessed the
Lord in the sight of all the assembly and said, ‘Blessed, praised, adored and
thanked are You, O Lord God of Israel (Jacob) our father, forever and ever. Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power
and the glory and the victory and the majesty, indeed everything that is in the
heavens and on the earth;
“’Yours is the dominion and kingdom, O Lord, and You
exalt Yourself as head over all. Bot
riches and honour come from You, and You rule over all. In Your hand is power and might; and it is in
Your hands to make great and to give strength to everyone. Now therefore, our God, we thank You and
praise Your glorious name.’” I Chronicles 29:10-13
“There is nothing that God cannot do, but there are two
things God will not do – He will not sin, and He will not force the will of men. God has given us a free will to choose to
love and obey Him, and He leaves the choice with us.[1]”
You see, God loves us so much He gives us the right to say ‘No’
to Him. No other creature has this
privilege!
Take care with love, especially His, Darlene (who still
prays for you each day)
