The separate work of each member of the Trinity[1]
"I will declare the decree of the Lord: He said to Me, 'You are My Son; this day I proclaim I have begotten You. Ask of Me, and I will assuredly give You the nations as Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth as Your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall shatter them in pieces like earthenware.'
"Now therefore, O kings, act wisely; be instructed and take warning, O leaders, judges and rulers of the earth. Worship the Lord and serve Him with reverence and with awe-inspired fear and submissive wonder; rejoice, yet do so with trembling." Psalm 3:7-11
God the Father is always spoken of as in Heaven. His glory was manifested in the tabernacle
and temple. He solved the Genesis 3: problem and set all things in motion to
capture the hearts of His children.
God the Son appeared to men in human form as ‘the angel of the Lord’ during Old Testament times but became flesh and was born of a virgin when He came to earth to dwell for thirty-three years.
After His death and resurrection, He returned
to glory where He is now at the right hand of the throne of God, and will some
day come back to earth again.
God the Holy Spirit, during the Old Testament days came upon men to bless and help but did not remain with them forever. He came upon Mary when she conceived the body in which Christ would dwell on earth. He came upon Christ at His baptism and during His ministry and took part in the resurrection of Christ.
At Pentecost, the
Holy Spirit came to dwell on the earth in the hearts of believers and to
convict and convert sinners and will remain until the Church is taken up to
Heaven.
All three took part in creation. The Trinity has no beginning and no end and
is sovereign over all.
Take care with love, especially His, Darlene (who still
prays for you each day)
