“Do not think that I came to do away with or undo the Law
of Moses or the writings of the Prophets; I did not come to destroy but to
fulfil.” Matthew 5:17
“This is My commandment, that you love and unselfishly
seek the best for one another, just as I have loved you. No one has greater love nor stronger
commitment, than to lay down his own life for his friends.” John 15:13
“Grace to you and
peace – inner calm and spiritual well-being -- from God our Father and the Lord
Jesus Christ, who gave Himself as a sacrifice to atone for our sins to save and
sanctify us so that He might rescue us from this present evil age, in
accordance with the will and purpose and plan of our God and Father – to Him be
ascribed all the glory through the ages of the ages. Amen.” Galatians 1:3-4
“He came to ‘fill full’, or complete, the Old that He might
establish the New. In the Old Testament
men were saved by faith looking for the coming Saviour; in the New Testament we
are saved by faith in the Saviour who did come.
Salvation is always by faith.
‘We live in the age of grace when we have the New Testament
to teach us of the Saviour and His work.
We need not to bring the blood of animals to offer on the altar of any
temple.[1]”
The Bible makes it abundantly clear, that from the beginning
of time when ‘Adam and Eve’ chose to do what was right in their own eyes, God had
a plan. This plan was so unlikely, so bold
and so effective and it was the only way to pay the required price to cover our
sin once for all. That is so NEAT!
Take care with love, especially His, Darlene (who still
prays for you each day)
