How can you trust the New
Testament
when the original manuscripts
are different? - Zondervan
“’I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you and to
give you assurance of these things for the churches. I am the Root, the Source, the Life and the
Offspring of David, the radiant and bright Morning Star.
“’The Holy Spirit and the bride of the church, believers,
say, ‘Come.’ And the one who hears says ‘Come.’ And let the one who is thirsty come; let the
one who wishes take and drink of the water of life without cost.
“’I testify and warn everyone who hears the words of the
prophecy of this book, its predictions, consolations and admonitions; if anyone
adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues, afflictions, calamities
which are written in this book;
“’and if anyone takes away from or distorts the words of
the book of this prophecy, God will take away from that one his share from the
tree of life and from the holy city, new Jerusalem, which are written in this
book.’” Revelation 22:16-19 – The Amplified Bible
“The Bible contains the revelation of God’s will and
dealings and teachings … There is no new revelation since the writings of the
apostles and prophets were completed. A
special curse is placed upon any who try to originate new doctrines or manuscripts,
or to take away from those already given.[1]”
Over the next few days, I will share some important videos to
help us all understand the reliability, accuracy and history of God’s Word and
it will help us all trust it even more.
Take care with love, especially His, Darlene (who still
prays for you each day)

NEW PRAYER REQUESTS
·
Kim –
lost her Mom earlier this year and recently lost her Dad. She needs prayers while she deals with the
loss of her sweet parents.
·
THANKSGIVING - Peyton
- eldest granddaughter of Jeff and Rachael – had a great first year of college
and is growing spiritually in all other areas of her life. Thank you for faithfully praying for this
lovely woman of God and continue to pray that she remains safe and strong in
her beliefs and convictions and continues to encourage many with her loving
faithfulness to the Lord.
·
UPDATE
-Israel – for the time being
there is a cease fire and the clean-up and finger pointing is beginning. Many on both sides have been wounded and some
have died. Pray God protects His chosen
people and land as only He can. Let His
power and love of Israel be demonstrated clearly for all to see and let there
be peace for now. We must be ever
watchful.
·
Rozzy and Jono –
will soon board a plane from Sydney to Vancouver Island to serve on the mission
field to work with the youth in the mid-north coast (the neediest of the Gospel
location in North America). Pray for
travelling mercies, robust health and that God will grant them a child.
·
THANKSGIVING - Louise,
sister of Rachael – has come through her second reconstructive
surgery after her double mastectomy (they got all the cancer) but still needs
prayers as she recovers. Pray for her
family and supporters and her health care providers that they have compassion
and wisdom.
· Isaias and Judith (Ambassadors for Christ the Philippines) – the
entire Catorce family represent this conservative, Bible-based ministry in a remarkably difficult mission field. They have maintained a teaching seminary and
discipling ministry there for dozens of years.
They are both facing serious health issues and need your fervent prayers. Judith has just come through complicated back
surgery and is recovering. Please visit
their new website: https://afcph.org/ to learn more.
Pray our Father keep these servants strong and restores their
health. They
still need an additional $4,000 for the surgery. Thank the Lord for those who have now donated
$8,000). If you are unable to donate,
please consider sending a note of encouragement to Isaias Catorce, who teaches
and leads the groups at icatorce@gmail.com

healthcare workers and those who support them, including the many burying the

in the arms of the Lord while he works through a difficult challenge. Thanksgiving and praise that the Lord has
