Omnipotent Too

“And Mary said to the angel, ‘How can this be, since I am a virgin?’  And the angel answered and said to her, ‘The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; and for that reason the holy offspring shall be called the Son of God.  And behold even your relative Elizabeth has also conceived a son in her old age; and she who was called barren is now in her sixth month.  For nothing will be impossible with God.’” Luke 1:34-37

“Twice in the New Testament the statement was made that ‘nothing is impossible with God’, once relation to the physical birth when the promise was made to Mary, and once in relation to spiritual birth when the disciples asked Jesus who could be saved if the demands were so high that He had sent the rich young ruler away empty handed.”*

For all the years I’ve written the WeakDay Devotion they are just me sharing my personal insights.  Today, as I write these words “For nothing will be impossible with God,” He seems to be speaking in a new way in my heart.  My Father-God always knows where I am and how much I need His love and wisdom.  Thank you for being with me now.

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, Darlene
