All Over The Place, Too!

“Where can I go from Thy Spirit?  Or where can I flee from Thy presence?  If I ascend to heaven, Thou art there; if I make my bed in Sheol, behold Thou art there,  If I take the wings of the dawn, If I dwell in the remotest part of the sea, even there Thy hand will lead me, and Thy right hand will lay hold of me.” Psalm 139:7-10

“In the middle of the Psalm [139] David describes the impossibility of escaping from the presence of the Holy Spirit.  No one can ever place themselves in a position that is out of His reach.  The farther a person runs, the bigger they discover God to be!”*

Think of that little story about footprints in the sand...where someone asks God why he has to walk alone when things get tough – because he only sees one set of footprints.  God says, you were never alone, the times when you see only one set of footprints is when I am carrying you!  I love that and I’m grateful He is always with me to help me in ways I will NEVER understand.  Thank you Father-God!

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, Darlene
