Creation Sings The Father's Song

The heavens are telling of the glory of God; and the expanse of heaven is declaring the work of His hands.  Day after day pours forth speech, and night after night reveals knowledge.

“There is no speech, nor are there spoken words from the stars; their voice is not heard.  Yet their voice in quiet evidence has gone out through all the earth, their words to the end of the world.” Psalm 19:1-3

“For God does not overlook sin and the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who in their wickedness suppress and stifle the truth, because that which is known about God is evident within them in their inner consciousness, for God made it evident to them.

“For ever since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through His workmanship -- all His creation, the wonderful things that He has made, so that they who fail to believe and trust in Him are without excuse and without defense.” Romans 1:18-20

1.    Find a place and time where you will have at least an hour for the assignment.

2.    Have your Bible, notebook, writing implement and a refreshment.

3.    Pray and ask the Lord to open your eyes to the verses above.

4.    Listen/ watch the video for the assignment, listen to the words, then read the rest of Psalm 19.

5.    Then look around you and write down the beauty of the nature around you and thank the Lord for providing reminders of His presence around you.

Take care with love, especially His, Darlene (who still prays for you each day)

NEW PRAYER REQUESTS

·      UPDATE -Israel – for the time being there is a cease fire and the clean up and finger pointing is beginning.  Many on both sides have been wounded and some have died.  Pray God protects His chosen people and land as only He can.  Let His power and love of Israel be demonstrated clearly for all to see and let there be peace for now.  We must be ever watchful.

·      Louise, sister of Rachael – has come through the surgery (double mastectomy) successfully and had a second surgery for the reconstruction that didn’t go well.  Please pray as she waits for another month or so for the second surgery and that it will be safe and successful.  Pray for her family and supporters and her health care providers that they have compassion and wisdom.  They did get all the cancer, so that is a thanksgiving point.

·      Isaias and Judith (Ambassadors for Christ the Philippines) Isaias and Judith (Ambassadors for Christ the Philippines) – the Philippines is a remarkably difficult mission field and Isaias, Judith and their entire family have maintained a teaching and discipling ministry there for dozens of years.  They are both facing serious health issues and need your fervent prayers.  Judith has come through her complicated back surgery and is recovering.  Please visit their new website:  https://afcph.org/  to learn more.  Pray our Father keep these servants strong and restores their health.  They still need an additional $4,000 for the surgery.  Thank the Lord for those who have now donated $8,000).  If you are unable to donate, please consider sending a note of encouragement to Isaias Catorce, who teaches and leads the groups at icatorce@gmail.com

·      Tim – my brother – for his strength and wisdom and that he rests safely and soundly in the arms of the Lord while he works through a difficult challenge.

·      Ray Sr. – battling cancer and has been moved to respite care.  Pray the Lord opens His heart to the Truth of salvation and through this time, relationships with family are strengthened and that Ray Jr and Kathy would be able to know of his decision.

·      Callilah - a lost child.  Pray the Lord will capture her heart.

Pray for those in full-time service

Pray to uphold our Christian leaders – that they never compromise God’s Word, are bold and courageous in the face of evil.  Pray for their wisdom, safety, ingenuity, strength and for their families.

Pray for those with ongoing health concerns

Many of us have family, friends and loved ones with fragile health.  Pray God takes special care with them and protects them in practical ways and that the Lord will have mercy on them during this challenging time.

Pray for the World
