Wonder of God - Taryn Harbridge
“So I, the prisoner for the Lord, appeal to you to live a
life worthy of the calling to which you have been called, that is to live a
life that exhibits godly character, moral courage, personal integrity, and
mature behaviour – a life that expresses gratitude to God for your salvation,
“with all humility forsaking self-righteousness, and
gentleness, maintaining self-control, with patience, bearing with one another
in unselfish love. Make every effort to
keep the oneness of the Spirit in the bond of peace, each individual working
together to make the whole successful.
“There is one body of believers and one Spirit in the
bond of peace, each individual working together to make the whole
successful. There is one body of
believers and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when called to
salvation – one Lord, one faith, one baptism,
“one God and Father of us all who is sovereign over all
and working through all and living in all.
Yet grace, God’s undeserved favour, was given to each one of us, not
indiscriminately, but inn different ways, in proportion to the measure of
Christ’s rich and abundant gift.” Ephesians 4:1-7
Some mornings as I am preparing the devotion a Scripture
seems so powerful and important for the day that I get lost in what it is
saying to me. Although this is not a
WeakEnd Assignment, take time watch the video and then, just read those seven
verses over and consider your gift and joy in His love.
Take care with love, especially His, Darlene (who still
prays for you each day)
PS: Find my
statement of faith: https://especiallyhislove.blogspot.com
(where you will also find a series of beginner Bible studies to
share). You can easily find the WeakDay Devotion online by doing a Google
search for ‘WeakDay Devotion’. (Also,
there is an android ‘Goggle
Blogger’ app you can download to read them on your phone. Not sure about Apple.)
