is Living - Church
Hymn by Animated Faith
“The brothers immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night
to Berea; and when they arrived, they entered the Jewish synagogue.
“Now these people were more noble and open-minded than
those in Thessalonica, so they received the message of salvation through faith
in the Christ with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if
these things were so.
“As a result, many of them became believers, together
with a number of prominent Greek women and man.” Acts 17:10-12
From God’s Word Made Plain: “It is surprising how many people are willing
to take what someone says, or even what they have seen in the movies [or social
media] or what some church teaches, without searching the Bible for themselves.
“Error rides on the back of truth. There must be some truth in all wrong
teaching, or no one would swallow it.
The gullible and untaught in the Word are prone to believe anything that
has a Bible verse attached to it.”
Jesus told us that knowing the Truth would make us free and
that is because knowing His Word well, protects us from errors in thinking.
Take care with love, especially His, Darlene (who still
prays for you each day)
