Y a w n

“‘You have wearied the Lord with your words.  Yet you say, ‘How have we wearied Him?’  In that you say, ‘Everyone who does evil is good in the sight of the Lord, and He delights in them.’ Or, ‘Where is the God of justice?’ " Malachi 2:17

“Yet you have not called on Me, O Jacob; but you have become weary of Me, O Israel, you have not brought to Me the sheep of your burnt offerings; nor have you honoured Me with your sacrifices.  I have not burdened you with offerings, nor wearied you with incense.

“’You have bought Me no sweet cane with money, neither have you filled Me with the fat of your sacrifices; rather you have burdened me with your sins.  You have wearied Me with your iniquities.’” Isaiah 43:22-24

“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; who substitute bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!  Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and clever in their own sight!” Isaiah 5:20-21

“’The earth is given into the hand of the wicked; He covers the faces of its judges.  If it is not He, then who is it?’” Job 9:24

Imagine God watching His world today.  There are those trying to stay near His Word, to live a life that attracts others to the Truth of His provision of salvation.

Yet, far too many are motivated by greed, hoarding, political positioning, selfish determination and destruction of history, hope, faith and love.  How wearisome it must be for our heavenly Father.  He has shared all that needs to be known with His people and the world surrounding them.

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, who still prays for you each morning.  Darlene

NEW PRAYER REQUESTS?
·        USA – that the Lord would demonstrate His power in an unexpected and uniting way during these times of unrest and confusion.  Help hearts settle and rest on You alone.
·        Edna – the wife of the staff evangelist (Philippines Ambassadors for Christ – see below ‘full-time service’) was rushed back to the hospital to be put on dialysis.  They need your prayers for the restoration of her health, the wisdom of the doctors and that the Lord provides for their growing financial needs.
·        Sergio – lost his job and now looking again.  He was recently diagnosed with adult-onset diabetes.  Was living with his brother, but has been asked to move out, leaving him homeless.
·        Claudio – Has had a disappointing setback and needs prayers for encouragement in his battle with liver cancer.  Pray for his health carers to be compassionate and wise and for Elea, his wife, that she has the extra strength and hope to hold his hand through this.
·        Sue Furbee and husband, Sam – no updates.  Please keep praying for her recovery and for Sam’s care and devotion.  For more information and to contribute to the high costs of the procedures visit their GoFundMe page:  https://www.gofundme.com/sue-furbee
·        Toron – finishing his high school studies and needing strength, focus and confidence, especially with maths.
