In His Hope

“Concerning evil, both hands do it well.  The prince asks, also the judge, for a bribe, and a great man speaks the desire of his soul; so they weave it together.

“The best of them is like a briar, the most upright like a thorn hedge.  The day when you post a watchman.  Your punishment will come.  Then their confusion will occur.

“Do not trust in a neighbour; do not have confidence in a friend, from her who lies in your bosom guard your lips.  For son treats father contemptuously, daughters rise up against her mother, daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own household.” Micah 7:3-6

Today it seems the future offers unanticipated and potentially powerful challenges for those who are Christ’s followers.  We also know that our Heavenly Father rules over all and in all.  His wisdom and power is unmatched and that we can trust and lean on Him, even when we have little understanding of activities in the world.

Easter, the reminder that Jesus conquered all is just a few months away.  We celebrate this historic event in the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.  We live in faith for the only hope there is – His hope.  How wonderful!

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, who still prays for you each morning.  Darlene
