Starting Fresh

“There is none righteous, not even one; there is none who understands, there is none who seeks for God; all have turned aside, together they have become useless; there is none who does good, there is not even one.

"--  Their throat is an open grave, with their tongues they keep deceiving, the poison of asps is under their lips; whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness;” Romans 3:10-14

He died to save and justify us.  He lives to sanctify us.  We live to serve Him and grow more into His image.

To do this we must first start fresh - daily.  How?  By acknowledge that, although we think we’re doing better than before or better than others around us, our hearts remain focused more on self than Him.

"If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves, and the truth is not in us.  If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us.” I John 1:8-10

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, who prays for you each morning, Darlene
