Housecleaning Pathways, Part 2

"A voice is calling, 'Clear the way for the Lord in the wilderness; make smooth in the desert a highway for our God.  Let every valley be lifted up, and every mountain and hill be made low; and let the rough ground become a plain, and the rugged terrain a broad valley;" Isaiah 40:3-4

"Only be very careful to observe the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, to love the Lord your God and walk in all His ways and keep His commandments and hold fast to Him and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul." Joshua 22:5

"Whoever is wise, let him understand these things; whoever is discerning, let him know them.  For the ways of the Lord are right, and the righteous will walk in them, but transgressors will stumble in them." Hosea 14:9

God has a plan and path for our lives.  Part of that plan is to follow Him.  If we crown our pathways with self-care, indulgence, work for work sake, etc., we may miss the opportunity to learn His lessons the "easy" way.

And remember, although He is growing us up in His ways, His efforts aren't just for us, they are for the people around us.

"And He said to them, 'Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.'" Matthew 4:19

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, who prays for you each morning, Darlene
