"Watch
over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life." Proverbs 4:23
"The
heart is more deceitful than all else and is desperately sick; who can
understand it? I the Lord, search the
heart, I test the mind, even to give to each man according to his ways,
according to the results of his deeds." Jeremiah 17:9-10
Sometimes, you get too busy to consider
how important the intimate core of your being - your heart -- is to the
Lord. It can become like a cupboard
clogged with thoughts and deeds, images and attitudes that the Lord would be
disappointed about.
So, sometimes you just need to stop and do
a good "houseclean" there!
Have you looked to your heart lately?
"Create
in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me." Psalm 51:10
Take care with love, especially His! Your servant and friend in Christ, who prays
for you each morning, Darlene
