Thinking and Doing

"Woe to those who scheme iniquity, who work out evil on their beds!  When morning comes, they do it, for it is in the power of their hands.  They covet fields and then seize them, and houses, and take them away, they rob a man and his house, a man and his inheritance." Micah 2:1-2

In I Kings 21:1-15, king Ahab plotted against his neighbor because he wanted his garden.  So King Ahab had his wife Jezebel have the neighbor killed, using power and might, means and motive to get what he so desired.  When something fills our thoughts and becomes our focus it rules us.

"'Do not lay up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rush destroy and where thieves break in and steal.  but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, whee neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.'" Matthew 6:19-21

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, Darlene
