Blind Choice

"Therefore, thus says the Lord, 'Behold, I am planning against this family a calamity from which you cannot remove your necks; and you will not walk haughtily, for it will be an evil time.  On that day they will take up against you a taunt and utter a bitter lamentation and say, 'We are completely destroyed!

"''He exchanges the portion of my people; how He removed it from me!  To the apostate He apportions our fields.'  Therefore, you will have no one stretching a measuring line for you by lot in the assembly of the Lord." Micah 2:3-5

Many of Israel's influential people spent their time planning ways to ruin the lives of others.  They sought personal wealth and influence, and the more they took for themselves, the more they hurt those around them.

They were blind to much of the pain they were causing and unaware of the judgment they were piling up for themselves.  Sadly their prophets had forgotten their calling and exchanged the favours they received from others, for God's wisdom.

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, Darlene
