"And
this One will be our peace. When the
Assyrian invades our land, when he tramples on our citadels, then we will raise
against him seven shepherds and eight leaders of men. And they will shepherd the land of Assyria
with the sword. The land of Nimrod at
its entrances; and He will deliver us from the Assyrian when he attacks our
land and when he tramples our territory."
Micah 5:5-
Things happen all around us that sometimes leave us speechless
with wonder, with fear, with shock and concern.
Yet in the heart of every Christian there is a storehouse of peace that
makes no sense at all. It holds us
together so others may wonder at the Source of our strength. His purpose is to fulfil His amazing plan of
salvation and use us in the meantime, weak and flawed as we may be, to draw
others to His message and His Son!
"'These
things I have spoken to you, while abiding with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the
Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things and bring to your
remembrance all that I said to you.
Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, do I give to
you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor
let it be fearful.'" John 14:22-27
Take care with love, especially His! Your servant and friend in Christ,
Darlene
