Responsibility of Followers

"And I said, 'Hear now, heads of Jacob and rulers of the house of Israel.  Is it not for you to know justice?  You who hate good and love evil, who tear off their skin from them and their flesh from their bones, and who eat the flesh of my people, strip off their skin from them, break their bones, and chop them up as for the pot and as meat in a kettle.'

"Then they will cry out to the Lord, but He will not answer them.  Instead, He will hide His face from them at that time, because they have practiced evil deeds." Micah 3:1-4

Leaders can only teach, lead and point in the right direction; not make people obey.  They do this best by setting a good and consistent example.  The leaders and priests Micah prophesied against were too busy indulging their own whims.  Yet when they felt pressure, despite how evil their practices, they would call upon the Lord and expect Him to bail them out!  Followers need to be careful who they follow!

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, Darlene
