"'Now muster yourselves in troops, daughter of troops; they
have laid siege against us; with a rod they will smite the judge of Israel on
the cheek.
"'But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, too little to be among
the clans of Judah, from you One will go forth for Me to be ruler in
Israel. His goings forth are from long
ago; from the days of eternity.'" Micah 5:1-2
A little, insignificant man, from a little, insignificant farm
town, was called by God to go and serve Him as His sanctified prophet and servant
for His purposes. He was called go far
away to a big town, where big, important men did not care to listen. Yet the Lord is always working His plan for
His glory and His purpose.
The fact is, He does the same with you and me, out of the smallest
of places; through the seemingly most insignificant of hearts come His messages
of hope and love and peace to others. He
is calling you right now...
Take care with love, especially His! Your servant and friend in Christ,
Darlene
