Not your servant

“’I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.  But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.

“’He shall glorify Me, for He shall take of Mine, and shall disclose it to you.  All things that the Father has are Mine; therefore I said that He takes of Mine, and will disclose it to you.’” John 16:12-15

“If it is established that the Holy Spirit is a person, it must also be recognised that the Holy Spirit is God.  He is not just a servant of God, or an agent of God, but He IS God.”*

The Holy Spirit is an individual of the Trinity; a mysterious entity with all attributes and desires of our Father-God and the Lord Jesus Christ shared with the Holy Spirit.

Yet, each entity has a special purpose in God’s plan for this world.  For us, His children, His purpose is to grow us into the image of Jesus so the world will be attracted to Him and His love for them.  Our personal “mentor” or “tutor”  is the Holy Spirit within us, who serves Him in all ways.

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, Darlene
