Whiter Than White

“’Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me.  Behold, Thou dost desire truth in the innermost being, and in the hidden part Thou wilt make me know wisdom.  Purify me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.’” Psalm 51:5-7

“’Come now, and let us reason together,’ says the Lord, ‘though your sins are as scarlet, they will be as white as snow, though they are red like crimson, they will be like wool.” Isaiah 1:18

“And we have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us.  God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.  By this, love is perfected with us, that we may have confidence in the Day of Judgment; because as He is, so also are we in this world.” I John 4:17

“—on judgement day we will come into the presence of God cowering, and fearful, dreading the encounter, but humbly, boldly and confidently.  Why?  John says that the full extent of the love of God for us is expressed in the fact that ‘in this world, we are like Him’.  We will stand in the presence of the Father as pure and righteous as the Lord Jesus Christ, and as the Father would welcome the Son, so He will welcome you and me.”*

We are not capable of understand the awesome capability our Father-God has in forgiving us of our sins and choosing to not recall them again.  We are, as the Bible says, NEW creatures in Christ!  What an amazing and loving way He has!  It is up to us to trust His truth and rest in His Word!

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, Darlene
