Viva Paper Towels

“’Yet you have not called on Me, O Jacob; but you have become weary of Me, O Israel.  You have not brought to Me the sheep of your burnt offerings; nor have you honoured Me with your sacrifices.  I have not burdened you with offerings, nor wearied you with incense.  You have brought Me no sweet cane with money, neither have you filled Me with the fat of your sacrifices; rather you have burdened Me with your sins, you have wearied Me with your iniquities.  I even I, am the One who wipes out your transgressions for My own sake; and I will NOT remember your sins.’” Isaiah 43:25

God has a unique ability.  He not only forgives, but He also forgets or more precisely, He remembers no more.  I was confused by this at one stage.  If God forgets our sim, I reasoned, and we talk about our past sin to someone, God may think we are telling lies, because He had forgotten!  However, the truth is not that He ‘forgets’ but that He ‘remembers no more.’” *

You’ve seen those commercials where someone spills a puddle of red or blue liquid, then grabs a Viva Paper Towel and in seconds all the mess is gone and the towel is thrown into the trash!  Well it is something like that:  God “absorbs” the sin and makes a decision to NEVER recall what He knows about it...to NEVER call you to account for it, NEVER to use it as ammunition against you, and to NEVER condemn you for it.

NOTE:  The only truth Satin tells is about your sin.  Satin uses your memory of your sins against you so you will be compromised by guilt!

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, Darlene
