Irrefutable Proof of the Bible by The Watchman with Erick
Stakelbeck
“Do not be far from Me, for trouble is near; and there is
no one to help. Many enemies like bulls
have surrounded Me; strong bulls of Bashan have encircled Me. They open wide their mouths against Me, like
a ravening and a roaring lion.
“I am poured out like water, and all My bones are out of
joint. My heart is like wax; it is
melted by anguish within Me. My strength
is dried up like a fragment of clay pottery; and My dry tongue clings to My
jaws; and You have laid Me in the dust of death (John 19:28).
“For a pack of dogs have surrounded Me; a gang of evildoers
has encircled Me, they pierced My hands and My feet. (Isaiah 53:7; John
19:37). I can count all My bones;
they look, they stare at Me (Luke 23:27, 35). They divide My clothing among them and
cast lots for My garment” (John 19:23-24). Psalm 22:11-18 - The
Amplified Bible
Are there any proofs outside the Bible to substantiate its
claims as the Word of God? YES!
First, “The
Bible is a prewritten history, not of just one event, but of many. It gives detailed happenings of the nation of
Israel before they happened; it tells of the life and death of Christ before He
came; it tells of the world conditions before they happen.[1]”
Just three examples surrounding Jesus crucifixion:
·
Who made the Roman soldiers cast lots for His clothes
·
Who made the Romans offer vinegar and gall?
·
Who told the Romans to invent the cross as a
method of execution?
Christian believers do not have to believe in the Bible because someone else tells them to or they feel like it is true. Christians can rely on the mind they have been given to explore for themselves the proofs from science, history, archaeology.
When you explore for the facts underpinning Scriptures, you discover even more substantial proof that God’s Word is true
and can be relied on.
Take care with love, especially His, Darlene (who still
prays for you each day)
