in the Bible by Living Waters

[God speaking] ‘”Now gird up your loins like a man, and I will ask you, and you instruct Me!  Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth?  Tell Me, if you know and have understanding.  Who determined the measurements of the earth, if you know?

“’Or who stretched the measuring line on it?  On what were its foundations fastened?  Or who laid its cornerstone, when the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God, the angels, shouted for joy?

“’Or who enclosed the sea with doors when it burst forth and went out of the womb; when I made the clouds its garment and thick darkness its swaddling band, and marked for it My appointed boundary and set bars and doors devining the shorelines, and said, ‘This far you shall come, but no farther; and here your proud waves shall stop’?” Job 38:3-11

“So called mistakes of the Bible have turned out to be mistakes of the critics.  Back in the time of Moses God commanded those who cared for the sick to ‘bind a cloth across the mouth [of the sick person],’ and yet the medical world only gained knowledge of germs in recent decades.[1]

Leviticus can seem like the most boring of books, but if you read it with care, you will discover God’s wisdom in ways you had not imagined.  The chosen people were entrusted with daily health, medical, dental, nutritional and psychological understanding other peoples had no knowledge of, such as the simple ‘art of washing your hands properly and often’.

Take care with love, especially His, Darlene (who still prays for you each day)

Pray for those in full-time service

Pray to uphold our Christian leaders – that they never compromise God’s Word, are bold and courageous in the face of evil.  Pray for their wisdom, safety, ingenuity, strength and for their families.

Pray for those with ongoing health concerns

Many of us have family, friends and loved ones with fragile health.  Pray God takes special care with them and protects them in practical ways and that the Lord will have mercy on them during this challenging time.

Pray for the World
