“Better is the little of the
righteous than the abundance of many wicked.
For the arms of the wicked will be broken, but the Lord sustains the righteous. The Lord knows the days of the blameless, and
their inheritance will be forever.
“They will not be ashamed in the
time of evil, and in the days of famine they will have abundance. But the wicked will perish; and the enemies
of the Lord will be like the glory of the pastures, they vanish [are consumed] – like smoke they vanish [consume] away.”
Psalm 37:16-20
“Trust in the Lord with all your
heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will
make your paths straight! Do not be wise
in your own eyes; fear the Lord and turn away from evil.” Proverbs
3:5-7
In a variety of studies, those who
win or are given large sums of money (such as those who win mega millions in a
lottery), enjoy lifestyle advantages, but they are not happier and are often
less happy because of all those who only want to be their ‘friend’ for their
own selfish advantage.
God did not promise us prosperity
and He did not promise us we would be happy.
He did promise that He would save us and always care for us, even when
it seems all hope is gone. Rest on that!
Take care with love, especially
His! Your servant and friend in Christ,
who still prays for you each morning.
Darlene

this time with her.

health carers to repair his physical heart.

touch Ray Sr.’s heart so he reaches out for the only hand that can save him --
the compassionate Lord Jesus.
