The Power Of The Cross {with lyrics} –
 //Keith & Kristyn Getty, Stuart Townend\\

[What Eliphaz has seen of life] “’I will tell you, listen to me; and what I have seen I will also declare; what wise men have told, and have not concealed from their fathers, to whom alone the land was given, and no alien passed among them….

“’He will not escape from darkness; the flame will wither [will consume] his shoots, and by the breath of His mouth he will go away [be consumed].  Let him not trust in emptiness, deceiving himself; for emptiness will be his reward.  It will be accomplished before his time, and his palm branch will not be green.

“’He will drop off his unripe grape like the vine, and will cast off his flower like the olive tree, for the company of the godless is barren, and fire consumes the tents of the corrupt.  They conceive mischief and bring forth iniquity, and their mind prepares deception.’” Job 15:17-19, 30-35

Man sees God as vengeful and petty as … well, we are.  Stingy with blessings – just think of how we treat each other.  Think how our anger taints our love, thoughts and actions -- until sometimes we don’t even recognise our own behaviour.

It is critical to know, remember and trust that God loves you with the perfect love, --far above the love you can understand.  He chose to allow Jesus, His only Son, to pay for ALL your sin, past, present and future.

Jesus stands between you and Father-God.  God’s love beams with warmth and compassion, as He sees His Son covering us with the perfect and complete payment for our poor choices.

“But God being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),

“and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

“For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.” Ephesians 2:4-9

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, who still prays for you each morning.  Darlene
