Watchers

“Behold, bless the Lord, all servants of the Lord, who serve by night in the house of the Lord! Lift up your hands to the sanctuary, and bless the Lord. May the Lord bless you from Zion, He who made heaven and earth.” Psalm 134

“And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon; -- And there was a prophetess, Anna the daughter of Phanuel, -- And she never left the temple, serving night and day with fastings and prayers.” Luke 2:25, 36, 37

Many serve the Lord faithfully and consistently in ways unseen and rarely appreciated. These “watchmen and watch women” serve, not for praise or recognition, but for the sheer joy of resting in the Lord for the good of His children. If you know any who watch and wait for the Lord pray for them and make time to thank them.

Stay near God's Word. Take care. Your servant & friend in Christ, Darlene

PS: Carla’s father passed away yesterday. Her Mom remains in the hospital. Pray for her family. Pray for Carla as she tries to find a way to get home for the funeral 8 March. Continue to pray for David and Adrian with ongoing health battles; and for Adrian’s uncle who is growing older and more tired.
