Trust & Abide

“Those who trust in the Lord are as Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people from this time forth and forever. For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest upon the land of the righteous; that the righteous may not put forth their hands to do wrong. Do good, O Lord to those who are good, and to those who turn aside to their crooked ways, the Lord will lead them away with the doers of iniquity.” Psalm 125:1-5a

Sometimes there is nothing more we can do and yet we struggle; all too often forgetting that God has a plan - that no matter where we are or what we’re doing or for what reason that we must trust in the One with the Master Plan. And that is difficult.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6

Stay near God's Word. Take care. Your servant & friend in Christ, Darlene

PS: Please pray for Carla and her family; her mother is now being taken care of at home as she recovers from her stroke. Matthew is getting better. Continue to pray for David and Adrian for their health battles. And pray for Adrian’s uncle who is growing older and more tired.
