No One Ever Cared for Me Like Jesus

“He sends forth springs in the valleys; they flow between the mountains; they give drink to every beast of the field; the wild donkeys quench their thirst. Beside them the birds of the heavens dwell; they lift up their voices among the branches. He waters the mountains from His upper chambers; the earth is satisfied with the fruit of His works.

He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, and vegetation for the labour of man, so that he may bring forth food from the earth, and wine which makes man’s heart glad, so that he may make his face glisten with oil, and food which sustains man’s heart.

"The trees of the Lord drink their fill, the cedars of Lebanon which He planted, where the birds build their nests, and the stork, whose home is in the fir trees.” Psalm 104:10-17

Assignment

Today is about you.

1. Set aside an hour and find a place where you will not be disturbed.

2. Bring your Bible, notebook, something to write with and a refreshment.

3. Settle in and pray that the Lord will bring to your thoughts the special way He has led you through your life with His promises.

4. Open your notebook to a clean page and date it.

5. Open your Bible. Now some of you will have written special verses in the fly leaves (front and back pages) of your Bible. Typically, these are verses that have become special to you. If you have never written a verse in your Bible, perhaps you will someday.

6. Consider verses you have wanted to memorise or have memorised that are special to you and search for them in your Bible.

7. Think about the one verse that you rely on when your heart is overwhelmed and write it in your notebook, thanking your Heavenly Father at how tenderly He cares for you.

Take care with love, especially His, Darlene (who still prays for you each day)
