From Got Questions Ministries (4:25)

“He established the earth upon its foundations, so that it will not totter forever and ever.  You covered it with the deep as with a garment’ the waters were standing above the mountains.  At Your rebuke they fled.

“At the sound of Your thunder they hurried away.  The mountains rose; the valleys sank down to the place which You established for them.  You set a boundary that they may not pass over, so that they will not return to cover the earth.” Psalm 104:5-9

Assignment

1.    Set aside an hour and find a place where you will not be disturbed.

2.    Have your Bible, a notebook, something to write with and a refreshment.

3.    Settle in, calm your heart and pray that the Lord surprises you with new insights.

4.    Open your notebook to a fresh page and date it for today.

5.    Open your Bible to Genesis and read chapters 1 through 8 (the video answers a common question but is NOT a hint for you to find the first promise, just so you don’t get distracted).

6.    As you read search out the first promise you find

7.    In your notebook, write out the promise and note who said it and what the circumstances were and thank God for His sweet promise.

Take care with love, especially His, Darlene (who still prays for you each day)
