TRUST IN YOUR LIFE

“’Listen to Me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, you who have been borne by Me from birth, and have been carried from the womb; even to your old age, I shall be the same, and even to your greying years I shall bear you!  I have done it, and I shall carry you; and I shall bear you, and I shall deliver you.

“’Remember the former things long past, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me.  I am God and there is no one like Me, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things which have not been done, saying,

‘My purpose will be established, and I will accomplish all My good pleasure; calling a bird of prey from the east, the man of My purpose from a country.  Truly I have spoken; truly I will bring it to pass.  I have planned it, surely, I will do it.’” Isaiah 46:3-4, 9-11

We often fail to notice how wonderful our lives are and focus instead on difficult times – when life gets messy and seems confused, empty, directionless; yet, God is working even in those times for our good and His glory.  We must purpose to trust Him in all things.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.  Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and turn away from evil.  It will be healing to your body, and refreshment to your bones.” Proverbs 23:5-8

Next week I will resume the series on the word ‘consumed’ in Scripture and thank you for your support over this last year.

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, who still prays for you each morning.  Darlene
