Give Thanks (With a Grateful Heart)

“I will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart; I will tell of all Your wonders.  I will be glad and exult in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.” Psalm 9:1

“Hear, O Lord, and be gracious to me; O Lord, be my helper.’  You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have loosed my sackcloth and girded me with gladness, that my soul may sing praise to You and not be silent.  O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever.” Psalm 30:10-12

"But You have saved us from our adversaries, and You have put to shame those who hate us.  In God we have boasted all day long and we will give thanks to Your name forever.” Psalm 44:7-8

“Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth.  Serve the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful singing.  Know that the Lord Himself is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people and the sheep of His pasture.

“Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courses with praise.  Give thanks to Him, bless His name.  For the Lord is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting and His faithfulness to all generations.”  Psalm 100

“Give thanks to the Lord, for His good; for His lovingkindness is everlasting.  – I shall give thanks to You, for You have answered me, and You have become my salvation.” Psalm 118:1, 21

“For You formed my inward parts; you wove me in my mother’s womb.  I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; wonderful are Your works, and my soul knows it very well.” Psalm 139:14

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, who still prays for you each morning.  Darlene

  • ·      UPDATE - Lachlan – thanks you for praying for him.  He has completed his seminary studies and now urgently needs to find housing for himself and his three children.
  • ·      Paul Having many interviews this week (has not had work since 2010). Pray for his ongoing resilience and that the Lord would allow him to find something.  Most of all, pray his heart melts enough for the Truth to touch him where it hurts.  Pray for my wisdom and patience as he continues to stay here.
  • ·      UPDATE - Patti – faithful daughter of Doris, wife of John.  A Proverbs 31 woman, who needs strength, energy and the ability to prioritise with grace and resolve.  Pray she will grow in confidence to say ‘no’ sometimes and enjoy a new season of serving her husband.
