GOD AMNESIA

“’Behold, then, I smite My hand at your dishonest gain which you have acquired and at the bloodshed which is among you.  Can your heart endure, or can your hands be strong in the days that I will deal with you?  I, the Lord, have spoken and will act.

“’I will scatter you among the nations and I will disperse you through the lands, and I will consume your uncleanness from you.  You will profane yourself in the sight of the nations, and you will know that I am the Lord.’” Ezekiel 22:13-15

The people of Israel had poor leadership.  God was no longer honoured and was being erased from the records and the memories of the people.  A climate of disrespect for Him (See James 3:1), His word and His tenants were being lost and covered up.

We can relate to this book, because this is what is happening in our world today, sometimes even with Christian leaders.  We are living through a time of unprecedented attacks by Satan that intend to give us all God-amnesia.  But God is patiently waiting for His people to cry out to Him and return to His path.  It is our responsibility to pray for our leaders that they never compromise God’s Truth!

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, who still prays for you each morning.  Darlene

PS:  Please pray for this ministry.  This is the 20th year of endeavouring to serve others in His name to offer a smattering of Scripture daily.  Find my statement of faith by clicking (or cut and paste this link into your Web browser):  https://especiallyhislove.blogspot.com   You can find the WeakDay Devotion online by doing a Google search for “WeakDay Devotion”  (Also, there is a “Google Blogger” app you can download to read them on your phone.)
