What is this Angel DOING?!

Listen carefully to these words
A new "Pass-it-On" for today!
Start a fire in each of us Father!!

"And I saw another angel flying in mid-heaven, having an eternal gospel to preach to those who live on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and tongue and people; and he said with a loud voice,

"'Fear God, and give Him glory, because the hour of His judgment has come, and worship Him who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and springs of waters.'"  Revelation 14:6-7

"The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance." II Peter 3:9

Can you IMAGINE just how silly this must seem to evil powers...to keep trying to share the Gospel -- even at the perceived end of all time!  Yet, God is in the business of gracious forgiveness, regardless of what the world is trying to convince us of.

Jesus' message of hope through repentance and faith in His promises is as relevant today as it was in the past and will be into the future.  Each of us who have accepted His precious gift of forgiveness and eternal life has the privilege to be part of His plan -- every day until whenever He chooses for the end to come.

"But sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence;" I Peter 3:15

PRAYER UPDATES NEEDED, PLEASE.

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, who prays for you each morning, Darlene

URGENT PRAYER REQUESTS

  • ·        Japan and Equador - Earthquakes have shaken both these countries in the last few days, please pray for rescue workers and those still trapped or lost.
  • ·        Adrian - last text message:  "uncomfortable couple of days, in bed, no good news, shoulder giving me trouble, otherwise just managing, I think." (Please do not forget to pray for his little companion dog, Toby, to remain healthy.  Without him I think Adrian would give up).
  • ·        Sergio - waits for news about a new job.  His ankle is healing, but slowly.  Pray for his patience during this time and that the opportunity he was recently looking into might eventuate.  He is in Mexico City and work there for graphic designers is rare.
  • ·        Paul - Part three of his interviews completed another meeting tomorrow, but he is not sounding confident of the result.  I am growing increasingly concerned for him.  Pray he does not lose heart and continues to search.  He has not had work since 2012!!

  • ·        Isaias and Judith - in the Philippines. Pray blessings on Isaias and Judith and thank the Lord for the generous people at Black Rock Congregational Church in Fairfield, Connecticut.  They just sponsored a month-long trip for them to raise funds.  It was an amazing trip for them.  Pray our Father continues to keep them strong and safe and that they find balance.  They give so much to so many for so little.  Take a moment to learn more about their tireless ministry:  Go to:  http://www.afciworld.org  Look for "Nations" then click "Philippines".
