Unholy trinity

"And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon.  And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence.  And he makes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose fatal wound was healed.  And he performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down out of heaven to the earth in the presence of men.

"And he deceives those who dwell on the earth because of the signs which it was given him to perform in the presence of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who had the wound of the sword and has come to life.

"And there was given to him to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast might even speak and cause as many as do not worship the beast to be killed." Revelation 13:11-15

Now we have the dragon, the wounded beast and this fire-raining beast to mock the trinity in yet another way.  Just reading these verses brings chills.  However, let's remember the Truth:

"'All things have been handed over to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son, except the Father, nor does anyone know the Father, except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.

"'Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.  Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you shall find rest for your souls.  For My yoke is easy and My load is light.'" Matthew 11:27-30

The contrast of the two trinities is stark:  one comes to threaten and break down and cause chaos; the other brings peace and comfort during times of confusion and fear.  So many follow the unholy trinity and Jesus asks us to share the Truth with them before it is too late.

PRAYER UPDATES NEEDED PLEASE!

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, who prays for you each morning, Darlene

URGENT PRAYER REQUESTS
