Angel Number Two - Still Trying

"And I saw another angel flying in mid-heaven, having an eternal gospel to preach to those who live on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and tongue and people; and he said with a loud voice,

'Fear God, and give Him glory, because the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made the heaven and the earth and sea and springs of waters.'" Revelation 14:6-7

"He said to them, 'It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority; but you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you' and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.'" Acts 1:7-8

"'For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.'" John 3:16

God did not come to save those people we like and admire alone.  He came and died for the evil ones, the ones who hurt others, who lie and cheat and steal and murder, abandon their families, abandon their gender, their honour and integrity, the ugly, the lonely, the street person, the ill, the dying....

This second Angel continues to reach out to those still on the earth.  And he reaches out through you and me to those the Lord brings into our lives each day.  We must choose if we will see the urgency of the situation because as He says, no one but the Father knows when the end will occur.

PRAYER UPDATES NEEDED, PLEASE.

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, who prays for you each morning, Darlene

URGENT PRAYER REQUESTS

  • ·        Up to 500 migrants may have drowned when a large boat sank in the Mediterranean Sea, according to the United Nation's refugee agency, citing witness reports. If confirmed, it would be one of the worst tragedies of Europe's migrant crisis in the past year.
  • ·        Japan and Equador - Earthquakes have shaken both these countries in the last few days, please pray for rescue workers and those still trapped or lost.
  • ·        ·        Adrian - spoke yesterday, as he was returning from his cancer treatment.  The cancer proteins have increased. They now want to change to a new type of very strong treatment, but it will make him even more miserable and he doesn't want it.  Please give him wisdom and clarity to know what is best and ensure his doctors have wisdom and compassion. (Please do not forget to pray for his little companion dog, Toby, to remain healthy.  Without him I think Adrian would give up).
  • ·        Sergio - waits for news about a new job.  His ankle is healing, but slowly.  Pray for his patience during this time and that the opportunity he was recently looking into might eventuate.  He is in Mexico City and work there for graphic designers is rare.
  • ·        Paul - Part three of his interviews completed another meeting tomorrow, but he is not sounding confident of the result.  I am growing increasingly concerned for him.  Pray he does not lose heart and continues to search.  He has not had work since 2012!!

NEW PRAYER REQUEST

  • ·        DB and her family are moving house this week and need your prayers to ensure things go smoothly.
  • ·        PS asks us to pray for a woman in early 30s - unstable for years and just taken to a psychiatric facility by police for an evaluation.  She will be able to check herself out after this and needs treatment.  Seems she still lives at home and is posing a great stress on her family.  Pray the family demonstrates courage and faith, strength and resolve with her and that she will accept treatment.  Pray also that the Lord captures her heart through this intervention.
  • ·        Doris, my second Mom (late 90s), a vigorous and deeply spiritual Christian woman, who, with her husband, prayed for my (and my family's) salvation from the time I was 12 until now.  During a recent visit, Doris shared with her daughter that she had a vision in a dream where she was walking and talking in Heaven with the Jesus!  I have not seen her since 2005 and hope she will be there when I am home again.  She is an amazing woman who has taught me so much about agape love and the Lord.
  • ·        Fred - Will have eye surgery on 27 April.  Please pray for a speedy recovery and that he is patient during recovery.
  • ·        Sandy needs prayer.  They are trying to diagnose what is happening in her body.  They are suspecting Crohn's Disease.
  • ·        David R asks us to pray for Mr. Hale, an 85-year-old who needs help understanding the benefits he has from the Veterans Administration
  • ·        Deepak - has worked tirelessly for years to develop his business and needs people to pay what they owe him for his work.
  • ·        LS - A potential change is causing her stress and she is battling a chronic, auto-immune disease.  Please pray for her.
  • ·        FW - needs strength and resolve to keep focused and safe.  Please pray for his parents Dave and Alice who will be moving to assisted living that they will be alright with the change.
  • ·        Pray I have the energy and focus to complete the updating of a new Kindle:  Where is Christ in America? -- a special series written in 2003 for such a time as this.

PRAISE AND THANKSGIVING

  • ·        Me - No news yet.  However, the Lord has gone before me and has a plan.  Thank you for praying.  Please pray for the individual who has encouraged me so much recently and most of all that the Lord's will is evident in whatever may occur.
  • ·        Isaias and Judith - in the Philippines. Pray blessings on Isaias and Judith and thank the Lord for the generous people at Black Rock Congregational Church in Fairfield, Connecticut.  They just sponsored a month-long trip for them to raise funds.  It was an amazing trip for them.  Pray our Father continues to keep them strong and safe and that they find balance.  They give so much to so many for so little.  Take a moment to learn more about their tireless ministry:  Go to:  http://www.afciworld.org  Look for "Nations" then click "Philippines".
  • ·        Toron - (18-year-old) seems to be strengthening, yet still needs encouragement, care and direction.
  • ·        Brody - (according to Rachael): "is still healing and it will be awhile yet before they can put a pin in his ankle.  Surgery is in the future, but the healing has to be much further along before they do that.  Hopefully, he will be standing BEFORE they get married in July.  Doctors are hopeful, but not making any promises.  Please keep praying."
  • ·        Heidi - seems to be enjoying her new job.  Please continue to pray she will take things slowly and enjoy this new opportunity.
  • ·        BG - Is relieved there is a diagnosis of his massive headaches and has started his treatments and is feeling much better.
  • ·        Raven - no signs of new cancer.

  • ·        Pray for the many individuals in Singapore, China, Russia, India and Alaska who are regularly reading the WeakDay Devotion on-line.  The blog seems to be gathering an audience in unexpected and mysterious geographic locations.
