"But
when the Pharisees heard that He had put the Sadducees to silence, they
gathered themselves together. and one of
them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, 'Teacher, which is the great
commandment in the Law'?'
"And
He said to him, 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and your
soul and with all your mind.' This is
the great and foremost commandment. The
second is like it, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'" Matthew 22:34-39
"Wouldn't God want you to say the
same thing ['I am a good thing.']? In
His book you are a good thing. Be kind
to yourself. God thinks you're worth His
kindness. And He's a good judge of
character."*
Did you realise that Satan is the king of
all liars? Did you know that Satan lies
about EVERYTHING except one thing? He
never lies about your failures and the sinful things you have done or the
things you have left undone.
If you start to feel unworthy or
unloveable, that is a good sign Satan is getting his message across to
you. Do not listen, rest, instead on the
kind and loving words of your Heavenly Father!
Take care with love, especially His! Your servant and friend in Christ, who prays
for you each morning, Darlene
