That Dread Moment

"Nations will see and be ashamed of all their might.  They will put their hand on their mouth, their ears will be deaf.  They will lick the dust like a serpent, like reptiles of the earth.

"They will come trembling out of their fortresses.  To the Lord our God they will come in dread, and they will be afraid before Thee." Micah 7:14-16

We all have an arrogance of innocence that comes from our inability to even remotely imagine the greatness and the power and the limitlessness love and grace of our Heavenly Father.  On the rare occasions when we do, there are no words to say to Him, other than to offer Him our heart in grateful thanks.

"Then Job answered the Lord and said, 'Behold I am insignificant; what can I reply to Thee?  I lay my hand on my mouth.'

"'I have heard of Thess by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees Thee; therefore I retract and I repent in dust and ashes.'" Job 40:3-4, 42:5-6

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, Darlene
