Hard and Easy

"But as for me, I will watch expectantly for the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation.  My God will hear me.  Do not rejoice over me, O my enemy.  Though I fall I will rise; though I dwell in darkness, the Lord is a light for me.

"I will bear the indignation of the Lord because I have sinned against Him, until He pleads my case and executes justice for me.  He will bring me out to the light, and I will see His righteousness.  Then my enemy will see, and shame will cover her who said to me, 'Where is the Lord your God?'  My eyes will look on her; at that time she will be trampled down, like mire on the streets." Micah 7:8-10

It is easy to forget, especially when things are easy or they are hard in our lives, to forget how loving our Heavenly Father is with us.  How His sacrifice of His Son was done because He loved us so much He did not want to live without our love and intimacy!

It's easy to forget when things are easy because we are so distracted by the good stuff; hard when things are hard because we are hurting.  Easy or hard, we take our eyes off the Lord and look at how much fun or how much pain is filling our lives...when He asks us to keep our eyes on Him, because He can take care of all that swirls around us!

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, Darlene
