"'Shepherd
Thy people with Thy sceptre, the flock of Thy possession which dwells by itself
in the woodland, in the midst of a fruitful field. Let them feed in Bashan and Gilead as in the days
of old. As in the days when you come out
from the land of Egypt, I will show you miracles.'"
Micah 7:14-15
If we can be patient and obedient through trials, God forgives us and
shows His goodness again. Trials and difficulties
do not mean rejection. The nation of Judah
was being punished here in order to bring her people to God, not to send them away
from Him.
When you face trials because of your sin, do not be angry with God
or be afraid that He has rejected you. Instead
turn away from your sin and turn back to your loving Heavenly Father.
"Why
should any living mortal, or any man, offer complaint in view of his sins? Let us examine and probe our ways, and let us return
to the Lord. We lift up our heart and hands
toward God in heaven." Lamentations 3:39-41
Take care with love, especially His! Your servant and friend in Christ,
Darlene
