Just Be Fair !

"'Is there yet a man in the wicked house, along with treasures of wickedness, and a short measure that is cursed?  Can I justify wicked scales and a bag of deceptive weights?  For the rich men of the city are full of violence, her residents speak lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their mouth.'" Micah 6:10-12

It was not uncommon for those who grew rich to have different measures and different charges for those who they could fool.  People in positions of trust must guard against prejudice and unfairness.  When they do not, then more extensive regulations are put in place.  Yet in the end the Lord would have us just be fair!

"You shall not have in your bag differing weights, a large and a small.  You shall not have in your house differing measures, a large and a small.  'You shall have a full and just weight; you shall have a full and just measure, that your days may be prolonged in the land which the Lord your God gives you.  For everyone who does these things, everyone who acts unjustly is an abomination to the Lord your God." Deuteronomy 25:13-16

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, Darlene

URGENT PRAYER REQUEST:   Saige, two day old baby, will be having a heart catherization done Thursday.  It will take two to three hours to perform this procedure. The doctors hope they can perform the opening of her valve with this procedure. They will be cauterizing the valve to open it and then putting a balloon through the artery. We will not know the results for probably two to three days. This is a very tricky procedure. She will probably be in the hospital at least two to three weeks if this procedure goes well.  We are asking for prayers for complete healing and for peace and comfort for parents Michael and Jobeth and family.
