And Cried Holy (The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir Version)

By Guy Penrod Fans

A friend loves at all time, and a brother is born for adversity.’ Proverbs 17:17

“By this, love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgement; because as He is, so also are we in this world.  There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.

“We love because He first loved us.  If someone says, ‘I love God,’ and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God should love his brother also.”  I John 4:17-21

Almost every weekend, I call my younger brother to hear how his (and his wife’s) week has gone.  I haven't had the opportunity to give him a hug in person since 2006 and I miss him so much.

God gave me a brother for so many reasons:  a protector, a comforter, someone who knows me warts and all and still loves me…and someone who inspires me when he shares his heart and thoughts with me.  He sent me the song above and today, it seems just perfect to share with you – my spiritual brothers and sisters.

Take care with love, especially His, Darlene (who still prays for you daily)

PS:  Find my statement of faith:  https://especiallyhislove.blogspot.com (where you will also find a series of beginner Bible studies to share).
