WHO MOVED?

"Therefore, the Lord longs to be gracious to you, and therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you.  For the Lord is a God of justice; how blessed are all those who long for Him.

“O people of Zion, inhabitant in Jerusalem, you will weep no longer.  He will surely be gracious to you at the sound of your cry; when He hears it, He will answer you."  Isaiah 30:18-19

[Jesus telling the parable of the Prodigal son] "'And he got up and came to his father.  But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him, and felt compassion for him, and ran and embraced him, and kissed him.

“And the son said to him, 'Gather, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight; I am no longer worthy to be called your son.'  But the father said to his slaves,

'Quickly bring out the best robe and put in on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet; and bring the fattened calf, kill it, and let us eat and be merry; for this son of mine was dead, and has come to life again; he was lost, and has been found.''"  Luke 15:20-23
[Jesus speaking]  "'Simon, Simon behold, Satan has demanded permission to sift you like wheat; but I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail; and you, WHEN once you have turned again, strengthen your brothers..'"  Luke 22:31

"Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?"  Romans 2:4

When I was a new Christian, I remember a wise woman telling me once when I was feeling particularly confused and afraid.  A time in my life when I felt like God had gone away from me because I had messed up; and messed up so badly I knew He didn't even want to stay in the same room with me anymore.

She said, "You know, when God seems far away, guess who moved!"  How simple!  How remarkable!  God is there waiting for you to turn to Him and offer your heart to Him, because He loves you.

And once you turn, He has work for you to do!  Today, consider your "spiritual global position" and come Home!

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, who still prays for you each morning. Darlene

NEW PRAYER REQUESTS and UPDATES

(NOTE:  Words underlined have a link embedded to provide more details)

To serve you in a new way, I’m researching and writing practical information for you about the pandemic.  Please visit:  https://newsaboutcovid19.blogspot.com/

Now declared a Pandemic by the World Health Organisation (WHO), a national emergency by USA and Australia.  Please pray for all involved, for health care workers, those trying to contain the spread; for those contagious and for those who contract the virus – that they are wise, patient and take precautions to protect others.

·        Today in 157 countries
·        167,751 confirmed cases
·        5,811 critical condition
·        6,456 reported deaths
  • Scott getting married March 26th, they will be a blended and Blessed couple.  Thank you for praying all these years for him and his children.
  • Baby Jolie– a year old, struggling to recover from meningitis and kidney failure.  Still in hospital.  Her leg may still require amputation.  She is responding VERY SLOWLY.  Many hurdles must be crossed.  Pray for her, her parents and her health care providers.  Once home, hopefully soon, she will need full-time nursing care.  Praise the Lord.  Family so grateful for all your prayers.
  • Savannah – has a very long road to travel.  The 15-year-old granddaughter of Cliff and Beth, diagnosed with a difficult-to-treat, psychological disorder with potential serious consequences.  New meds seem to be helping.  She is showing progress with this brain injury.  Pray for her attitude, wisdom for her health carers, patience for her parents and complete healing.
  • USA President Donald Trump – It is our responsibility as Christians to remember God has a plan through this man.  If you doubt the importance of his appointment, just look at how much antagonism there is against him.  Surely Satan is NOT happy and means to thwart God’s plan.  Pray someone helps President Trump understand the true meaning of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, that he will have a driving hunger to read God’s Word for himself and that God sends a Bible-believing Christian to regularly disciple him in the Truth and that God shuts the mouths of the false prophets who circle around him.
  • Fred – is making plans to move from California to Tennessee in the first quarter of 2020.  Pray for his wise attention to detail, stamina and roaring good health as he makes these life changes.
  • Tracey – Pray Tracey finds a new role to satisfy her and allow her to grow and share her skills and wisdom.
  • Me – New project going well.  Thank you for praying (ends 9 April).  Laptop due back this week, hopefully.

PRAY FOR THOSE IN FULL-TIME SERVICE
