Turner - My Prayer for You
“’Be
strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the Lord your
God is the One who goes with you. He
will not fail you or forsake you. – And the Lord is the one who goes ahead of
you; He will be with you. He will not
fail you or forsake you. Do not fear, or
be dismayed.’” Deuteronomy 31:6, 8
“For
the Lord loves justice, and does not forsake His godly ones; they are preserved
forever;” Psalms
37:28a
“For
the Lord will not abandon His people, nor will He forsake His inheritance.” Psalms 94:14
“Let
your character be free from the love of money, being content with what you
have; for He Himself has said, ‘I will never desert you, nor will I ever
forsake you.,’ so that we confidently say, ‘The Lord is my Helper, I will not
be afraid. What shall man do to me?’” Hebrews 13:5-6
No
matter how concerned, afraid, lonely, confused, lost you may be feeling right
now, take heart. While we watch God
unfold His purpose for this virus, now is a perfect time to refocus. The Lord Jesus Christ is right there, right
now, right beside you and holding your hand through all your concerns. Lean on Him!
He is our tower of hope.
Take
care, your servant and friend in Christ, Darlene (who still prays for you each
morning).

- Baby Jolie– (one-year
old) is now home with a full-time nurse.
Big steps after meningitis and kidney failure. Decision on whether she will keep her leg
still not made. Parents exhausted,
but grateful to all for the love and prayers.
- USA President Donald Trump – It is our responsibility as Christians to
remember God has a plan through this man. If you doubt the importance of his
appointment, just look at how much antagonism there is against him. Surely Satan is NOT happy and means to
thwart God’s plan. Pray someone
helps President Trump understand the true meaning of a personal
relationship with Jesus Christ, that he will have a driving hunger to read
God’s Word for himself and that God sends a Bible-believing Christian to
regularly disciple him in the Truth and that God shuts the mouths of the
false prophets who circle around him.
- Fred – is making plans to move from California to Tennessee in the first
quarter of 2020. Pray for his wise
attention to detail, stamina and roaring good health as he makes these
life changes.
- Tracey – Pray Tracey finds a new role to satisfy her and allow her to grow
and share her skills and wisdom.
- Me – New project going well.
Thank you for praying (ends 9 April). Pray God will restore my laptop.
PRAY FOR THOSE IN FULL-TIME SERVICE
During this time, when the
entire world is struggling to understand this ‘plague’, it is critical that
each of us upholds our Christian leaders.
They will be a very stretched resource for us all. Pray for their safety and strength their
families and most of all, their wisdom to pace themselves.
PRAY FOR THOSE WITH ONGOING HEALTH CONCERNS
Many of us have family, friends and loved ones who are fragile health-wise. It is important to protect them in wise and practical ways and most important we must pray even more for them that the Lord will have mercy on them during this challenging time.
