What Is Good

“With what shall I come to the Lord and bow myself before the God on high?  Shall I come to Him with burnt offerings, with yearling calves?  Does the Lord take delight in thousands of rams, in ten thousand rivers of oil?

“Shall I present my first-born for my rebellious acts, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?  He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly WITH your God.” Micah6:6-8

Our relationship with our heavenly Father seems complicated all too often when His desires for our focus is rather simple:  to trust Him to do justice, to love kindness and to be humble as you hold His hand through all the difficulties, sorrow and suffering you experience.

And this means during the great and comfortable times too, because it is then that we are most vulnerable and forgetful of Who is sovereign and providential in our lives.

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, who still prays for you each morning.  Darlene
