Who's the Director?

“Now these things happened to them as an example, and they were written for our instruction, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.  Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.

“No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, that you may be able to endure it.” I Corinthians 10:11-13

Sometimes you can forget you are part of a Divine role play where you serve the Lord in ways you cannot imagine and may never understand.  When temptations and challenges and pain and even exciting wonderful events occur...others are watching you, as are the angels to see if your grateful heart will have victory over your emotions and first reactions.

“Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance, and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.  For consider Him who has endures such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you may not grow weary and lose heart.” Hebrews 12:1-3

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, Darlene
