OK. What Do I Need To Do?

“My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments; for length of days and years of life, and peace they will add to you.  Do not let kindness and truth leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart, so you will find favour and good reproof in the light of God and man.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.  Do not be wise in your own eyes.  Fear the Lord and turn away from evil, it will be healing to your body, and refreshment to your bones.” Proverbs 3:1-8

“What is needed on our part to enable God to work?  There are two vital ingredients:  1. Obedience to what God says and 2. Trust in who God is.  These two aspects must be understood separately, but they must never be detached from one other.”*

Healing to your body and refreshment to your bones...isn’t God’s Word amazing.  Trusting in the Lord is like sinking into a refreshing, warm, pleasantly scented bath that relaxes you to focus only on Him and your relationship with Him – rather on the problem(s) devilling (great word choice, don’t you think?) at the moment.

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, Darlene
