Satan's Joy

“And when you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, having cancelled out the certificate of debt consisting of degrees against us and which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.

“When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him.  Therefore let no one act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day – things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ.” Colossians 2:13-17

“Satan will capitalise on our negative attitude and will have little difficulty keeping us in a perpetual state of fear and guilt.”*

From the time we can reason, we interact with others who, like in the Garden of Eden, compare what they have and who they are with others.  We live our lives comparing, trying to measure up, failing, trying for “success.”  Sadly, even AFTER we give our lives to Christ, the message of “not being good enough yet” haunts our every day.  Nothing compromises our Christian walk quicker and every compromised Christian brings joy to Satan!

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, Darlene
