OK, You win!

“Thou He slay me, I will hope in Him.  Nevertheless I will argue my ways before Him.  This also will be my salvation.  For a godless man may not come before His presence.  Listen carefully to my speech, and let my declaration fill your ears.  Behold now, I have prepared my case; I know that I will be vindicated.  Who will contend with me?  For then I would be silent and die.  Only two things do not do to me, then I will not hide from Thy face:  remove Thy hand from me, and let not the dread of Thee terrify me.  Then call, and I will answer; or let me speak, then reply to me.’” Job 13:15-22

“The second wager, reflecting the human viewpoint, is the one that Job himself engaged in; should he choose for God or against Him:  Job weighted the evidence, most of which did not suggest a trustworthy God.  But he decided, kicking and screaming all the way, to place his faith in God.”*

What a privilege it is to carry all our hopes and cares and angers and disappointments to the Father and KNOW that though we may not get the answer we want or have things work out the way we think best or feel abandoned or afraid and confused by circumstances or weakened and tired in our bodies by injury or disease, that we ARE never alone, even when we feel the need to turn our back on the Father...

He waits in love for each of His precious children!  Sometimes, as we are with our own children, He waits for us to see His Truth in a situation...and always we have the privilege to shout, argue, rail, cry and shake our fists at Him...always!

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, Darlene
