Is He trustworthy?

O Lord God of hosts, how long wilt Thou be angry with the prayer of Thy people? Thou hast fed them with the bread of tears, and Thou hast made them to drink tears in large measure. Thou dost make us an object of contention to our neighbors; and our enemies laugh among themselves. O God of hosts, restore us, and cause Thy face to shine upon us and we will be saved.” Psalm 80:4-7

’If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the furnace of blasting fire; and He will deliver us out of your hand, O king. But even if He does not, let it be known to you, O king, that we are not going to serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.’” Daniel 3:17-18

The hardest thing we do in our lives is to trust God when are sure we know what is right or when we want a specific solution or conclusion to something happening around us or in our own lives. That is when we get to exercise trust.

Run to God's Word. Take care. Your servant & friend in Christ, Darlene

PS: Pray for Tim and Barb, Carla and Paul and all the couples you know this week, that the Lord will build the love in their families and that they will be blessed and strengthened for all their patience and hope and love – especially with those who seem to give little in return.
